Are Macs Completely Safe?

I repeat, Macs are not secure

Many Mac owners are under the impression that Macs are safe against computer viruses and trojans, they're not!  The only reason Macs were secure before is because nobody could be bothered to write any malware for them as not enough people used Macs to make it worth their while.  The situation has changed.

If you are a Mac user or know one, DO NOT install Mac Defender (it's a trojan) and also, ignore what Apple has to say as they are deliberately keeping customers in the dark.
